Today in Bozeman there was a plethora of summer things to keep one entertained. The Gallatin County Fair is in town (we’re going tomorrow on “free” day), as well as Crazy Dayz in Downtown Bozeman, where the Main Street sidewalks are literally turned into a shopping extravaganza with shoppe owners peddling their wares street-side. I always love perusing Crazy Dayz – as there are always great bargains to be had!
My score for this year – winter ski mittens WITH LINERS, for $32 (50% off the retail price.) Of course, it’s one of the hottest days of the year, and I am standing in the beating sun, sticking my sweaty hands into liners and gloves! But for that price, I’ll suffer through some sweat! Thank you Chalet Sports!
Sexy Hubby and I strolled along, in the heat, checking the stands hither and yon. After a few blocks, he says to me, “I’m hot and thirsty. Let’s stop in the new ice cream store.” So we did. For the record, The Chocolate Moose, has been operational for a year now. It’s not really new, just new to us. Guess you don’t much feel like eating ice cream when it’s snowing all the time outside!
But today it was hot. And we wanted cool down. So in we went. It is a darling, throw-back candy store in the front, and an old fashioned soda shoppe with bar stools for ice-cream treat enjoyment in the back.
I ordered a chocolate soda – doesn’t that sound heavenly? I have never had one before, and thought I would try it. After all, it includes all of my favorite things. Sexy Hubby opted for some huckleberry ice cream sundae concoction – as huckleberries are his most favorite thing.
Next time you’re in Bozeman, and have a craving for some chocolate goodness, I suggest stopping in for a visit at the Chocolate Moose! It is sure not to disappoint!

That huckleberry sundae looks delicious:) Have you been to Powell’s when visiting P-town? It looks similar to the Chocolate Moose. Love the old fashioned candy shoppes!
The chocolate soda looks delightful.. When I was pregnant with Jenny I made it with Pepsi, Hershey’s syrup and vanilla ice cream.. what a concoction that was…lol Looks yummy. Sexy Hubby’s huckleberry/chocolate sundae looks just as good. Sounds like you guys are living life to its fullest…xoxo
I hit Crazy Days first thing on Friday! Suelto…. got me a couple nice and sexy things for my sexy hubby! And a new bathing suit for me too! I love Jolee and Suelto. Wish I’d got to go to more, but the budget was gone!
