Oh, The Places You’ll Visit

One of the joys in life is discovering new places. Places you’ve never been before.

I try to find one new spot each time I visit the homeland. And I’ll keep going until I have visited them all. Even if it takes years. I’m up to the task. I’ll suffer through the torture of pecking through lists of new places. One visit at a time.

If nothing else, the views alone are worth the visit.

{And tasting new wine is not so bad either.}

Waiting patiently for my tastings…

I’m not a Chardonnay lover, but this Chardonnay was rather delightful!

Out the tasting room window…

Of all my shots, this is my favorite. It is quintessential Sonoma County goodness – rolling hills, blue skies, and clusters of small, spherical trees.

At the end of my days, no matter how many places in this grand world I visit, this familial scene will always be home.

  1. What great shots of what is a really special place on the planet. I’m lucky enough to live in the Sonoma Valley, and as a potential help to visitors I’ve put together a guide to Sonoma Valley Wineries that includes information on all of the nearly 100 wineries in this little valley as well as information on things to do, cast as One Perfect Day in Sonoma Valley accounts. Again, many thanks for the beautiful pictures.

    1. Thanks Roy!
      Love my “homeland” – trying to visit a new spot whenever I come visit my parents in Sonoma!
