Fog.
It’s mysterious, delusional, cryptic.
It creates a mask of intrigue – and often times evokes images of full moons and werewolves. Yet for others, it means a blanket of comfort and feels like home.
As Sonoma County residents know, especially those from Petaluma, fog is a part of the landscape. And summer is no exception.
I left Sonoma on my way “over the hill” to meet some friends in Petaluma – and I was greeted by the marine-layer wonder, otherwise known as fog.
Petaluma – the Egg Capital of the World – and home of the Chicken. Who remembers the expression Chick-A-Luma? Must be why I love images of these fine-feathered frolickers!
Had a lovely dinner at Luma (you must try the Brussells Sprouts with pancetta – simply divine!) on First Street in Petaluma – along the river – and finished with drinks and live music at Aqus at the Foundry Wharf.
I highly recommend both establishments.
Cheers.
