Thank You, Synchronicity

I was blind-sided by an unwarranted note of negativity earlier today. Immediately, I sought refuge with a few gentle words from Pocketful of Miracles, by Joan Borysenko, Ph.D.

September 14

If possible, go for a mindful walk today.

Invoke the presence of your guardian angel to walk with you.

When you’re done walking, sit quietly, and thank your guardian angel, who is the agent of many of the synchronicities you  have experienced – the book practically falls off the shelf when you need it, the stranger whose conversation you overheard that heals an old wound…

Think of the synchronicity that you’ve recently experienced and give thanks for it.

I had a major wallop of synchronicity strike yesterday when a random Twitter connection whom I “met” prior to my team taking the field for Monday Night Football made me an offer.

The randomness of synchronicity and my new Twitter friend (who just happens to be a staff writer for the Oakland Raiders!!) invited me to post a blog that I wrote nearly one year ago after my beloved team set a franchise record scoring high of 59 points versus an arch rival.

Go take a walk. (I just did, and it’s bloody windy and cold as hell out there!)

Wishing you blessings of synchronicity today!
