For the second half of our road trip to Grandmother’s house…we awoke in Twin Falls, Idaho, well before the sun. What amazing views we witnessed this fine (yet early) morning.
I was out of the car, snapping photos at a rest stop. Talk about chilly. I think the Mercury read 10 degrees, give or take a degree. Or ten.
I cannot even count how many times we’ve made this trek. Better yet, I don’t need a map to find my way from the Treasure State to the Golden one. It’s memorized deep within the pliable grey matter, and there are certain markers that measure our progress. The following road sign always make me feel as though there is indeed, a light at the end of the tunnel…
A very different “over the river” view as compared to the one we crossed in the Treasure State…
This is the part Sexy Hubby complains the most about – the bumper to bumper greeting that welcomed us just beyond the Golden border…
Thankfully, we arrived safely.
Wishing all my gentle readers a very Merry Christmas. And may you arrive safely and soundly to your holiday destination.
