Golden State native turned Treasure State writer, blogger and social media evangelist.
Have successfully raised one “Grown-Ass Man“, one daughter, and in the midst of raising our last teenage son. Truly, it takes a village.
Since the sixth grade, I have kept a journal. Writing has always been my most natural form of expression. As a self-proclaimed lover of the written word, I was quite the prolific pen-pal, back in the day. I miss the intimacy and sweetness of a hand-written letter.
Random Obsessions:
Gary Allan - country music crooner, Yellowstone Park, anything vintage, rustic or “old-looking,” travel, and a morning steaming cup of Joe.
The beach, snow-shoeing and cross-country skiing.
Football Ray-duh fanatical (in the worst sense) and bleed Silver & Black from August until the fat lady sings. I was invited to write a piece about Super Bowl 2011 that was published on the Blogher.com network. I went head to head with a BlogHer VP and lived to tell about it!
Was a flight attendant for Trans World Airlines, lived in New York City and traveled the world – from Alaska to Africa, and Tel Aviv to Texas. I’ve seen a little of it all – and look forward to seeing more.
When I’m not blogging about Montana, or a favored vacation spot, I often quip about my life with Sexy Hubby, with whom I’m lucky in love for 18 years. We met in high school, went our separate ways, and once we reconnected, we never looked back.
Why An Authentic Life?
So far, the road has taken me a thousand miles from my friends and family and the only life I’ve ever known. It’s proved challenging, yet beginning a new life in Montana has allowed a fantastic opportunity to discover a more authentic side to myself.
Authentic Affiliations:
